HOPELESS ROMANTIC

doylebaby and I have been talking and we have decided to make two rule changes in respect of this community.

Both will come into effect in June.

1. If you submit a drabble you must vote. If you do not vote (unless you have a good reason, e.g. serious illness or a lack of Internet access during the voting period) then any votes for your drabble will not be counted.

We have decided to implement this rule due to the low number of votes we have been receiving each month. We really do not think it is unfair or unacceptable to expect people to vote if they submit a drabble.

2. Whilst we do not wish to stifle creativity and whilst we are really happy that the pictures inspire to such an extent, we have decided that there will be a limit on the number of drabbles you can submit each month. That limit will be five.

That doesn't mean you can't use the picture on your own journal and write as many drabbles as you wish to, we'd be quite happy for you to do so. However, only five drabbles can be submitted here to be voted upon.

We have decided to implement this as multiple drabbles from the same author can be somewhat over-whelming to other authors and to voters and we do not wish to discourage anyone. We felt five was a fair number that allowed people to submit more than one, but at the same time didn't over-whelm others.

And just to reiterate - both changes come into effect in June.
